FREE COUNSELING SESSIONS FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS
“I can face my problems rather than run from them …..” – These are the words of one of our kids.
For $50 you can help a child or teen receive free Marriage and Family Therapy counseling in one of 13 local public elementary, middle and high schools. We hope to raise $10,000 to offer 20 students, 10 free counseling sessions each in their own schools.

Project Info
Since 1983, TFCC has been delivering counseling and related services to teens, families, individuals and groups through the free-to-the-student Counselor-on-Campus Program at 13 area schools and through our sliding scale low-fee Clinic located in Campbell, California.
County mental health services have suffered from extensive budget cuts and TFCC is seeing the impact. Fifteen of our Marriage and Family Therapist interns, supervised by outstanding licensed professionals, work in local public schools. Last year TFCC counseled over 1200 K–12th grade students on a variety of issues including abuse, depression, anxiety and substance abuse.
Another TFCC kid (let’s call her Jenny) has said:
“(My therapist) was a great listener and was able to open me up unlike anyone else. I’m glad I was able to address some of my most bothersome problems and find ways of dealing with them. I can’t thank you enough ……”
