The Hope4Growth Education and Achievement List (HEAL) Project, a project of CDP
The HEAL Project's mission is to strengthen and assist institutions that help educate and motivate people so that even the most disadvantaged can become positive contributors to society - locally and globally. Dedicated to increasing positive self development in every individual from all walks of life.
Our project's objective is to to provide resources that will improve the quality of education and will strengthen schools (elementary & secondary) in the Southern Part of the Philippines that will in turn enhance and motivate children to become positive contributors to themselves, to their community and to society.

Project Info
Poverty and rural isolation, enhanced by global crises in health, security, and economic development, present formidable challenges.
Having an education is a human right and becomes a force for positive social change. It is a vital element in enriching and improving people's lives, protecting children from hazardous and unfriendly environments, promoting human rights and democracy, protecting the environment and controlling population growth.
Education is a way towards international peace and security.
If we improve schools and institutions, it will improve individual's education and in turn, they will benefit everyone not only locally, but globally.
Education is vital to lasting positive change in children's lives. Giving today's children the opportunity to have a solid education will greatly impact the way we all will live in the future because...children are our tomorrow.
The HEAL Project looks forward to working with the teaching staff's concerns in the schools of Mindanao. Currently we are focusing on 12 public schools (11 elementary schools & 1 public highschool) in the town of Lagonglong. We will definitely take other nearby schools/programs that are in need into consideration.
The HEAL Project has currently received surveys & questionarres regarding the schools immediate and long-term needs. We met with the teaching staff and the children and listened to their concerns.
Raising funds to purchase needed resources such as school equipment, computers,educational books, desks, further teacher training, etc. will positively affect the children and staff environment.
The HEAL Project is an on-going program, but we hope to raise funds for the schools' immediate concerns by our target, the Fall/Winter of 2008. We will then travel to the town to distribute the resources to the schools.
