Project Info
Local Agenda is a new educational program that fosters community-led community change by creating capable social entrepreneurs. Local citizens know their own communities best. But while they have the passion to create a better future, they may lack the skills, resources, or network to design and lead sustainable community change. Help us fill this critical gap and unleash the potential of tomorrow’s local heroes through a proven approach to community empowerment.
Funding will allow us to customize and deliver the comprehensive curriculum for partner sites--high-need communities in the U.S. and Tanzania, including both adults and teen participants. Local Agenda will reach thousands of individuals, who in turn will improve and strengthen communities worldwide.
