So we got this little guy from another shelter in Silicon Valley. They asked us to take him since it was obvious he was visually impaired and had some sort of neurological damage.
When we first met him, he was up at the front of his kennel, soliciting attention...and wobbly. Once we picked him up, we found out he was a big-time snuggler. How could we just leave him there? So we didn't.
But, once we got him back to HSSV, he needed a specialist to look at the neurological problems and may need an MRI to see what is going on and if it's "fixable". An MRI is about $1,500 - so we'd really love your help.
We take little "impaired" dogs and cats like this all of the time, so any gift, great or small, is helpful is taking care of some of these special cases.
