Project Info
Animals who have been at Humane Society Silicon Valley for 100 days or more are part of a program called "Homeward Bound". That means that their adoption fee is sponsored by HSSV, and that animal gets a little more attention and focus.
The challenge is that 30% of HSSV's income comes from things like adoption fees - and we spend an average of $350 on getting each animal in our care ready for adoption. So the math doesn't quite work out.
