2009 Through 2012 Gift Of Giving Mother In Need Campaign is a four year campaign. Our organization will launch this campaign, and during this four year campaign, our organization will collect in-kind donation of gift certificates, gift cards and/or baby products such as pampers, iron-fortified infant formula, infant cereal and other baby accessories, toys and equipment to help support 2009 through 2012 Gift Of Giving Mother In Need Campaign. The campaign will serve low-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, and infants and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk

2009 Through 2012 Gift Of Giving Mother In Need Campaign is a four year campaign. Our organization will launch this campaign, and during this four year campaign, our organization will collect in-kind donation of gift certificates, gift cards and/or baby products such as pampers, iron-fortified infant formula, infant cereal and other baby accessories, toys and equipment to help support 2009 through 2012 Gift Of Giving Mother In Need Campaign. The campaign will serve low-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, and infants and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk.
The campaign help support and safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating and every necessities.
The campaign will provide assistance for a percentage of the 4 million of children, which 2 million are infants, and 1.9 million are women. The campaign will serve the 93% of households in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan living at or below the poverty rate. Sixty percent of the populations are single mothers with children under the age of 18. Fifty-six percent are low-income single mother with children under the age of 5.
Thirty-eight percent of the hungry population in Detroit, Michigan are children. One out of every 10 Americans faces hunger, and every dollar helps. One million individuals in Michigan will need food assistance. We do not want another innocence child to go to bed hunger, since one out of every six-child do every night. Millions of Americans rely on emergency food services or go hungry and almost half are children. Our effort to reduce hunger and poverty, including shelter and food assistance program are working to help millions in America and aboard.
