Teacher Innovation Grants give Silicon Valley teachers the chance to try that great idea they have but have never been able to implement because of the lack of a few hundred dollars. Whether it’s trying out the newest piece of teaching equipment, taking low-income students on their first field trip, focusing on the learning needs of underperforming students or exposing students to exciting new opportunities, SVEF Teacher Innovation Grants help hundreds of teachers and thousands of students every school year. Over 400 mini-grants have been awarded as the program enters its fourth year with a goal of awarding over 150 this school year.
