Foxtails!
Button, a homeless one year old poodle mix, has a foxtail in her ear! Foxtails are barbed pods from the wild barley plant which work in, but don't work out. If not removed, they can cause horrible infections and can even be fatal.
Please help us help her! Any little bit counts and will make a huge difference in allowing us to continue to rescue needy animals such as Button.

Project Info
Button and her sister were surrendered after being severely neglected for years. Both are poodle mixes and neither had ever been brushed or had a bath. Both lived outside all of their lives. Button's sister had fur which was so matted that it was impossible to even see the skin. Both dogs had foxtails embedded between their toes, in their skin, and in Button's case, even in her ear. Now she needs surgery to remove it.
