PROJECT
English Schools People can afford!
The Briarwood Group is seeking stakeholders like you who will give a hand up in starting a fully equipped English School for Internationals. Our first step goal is to reach only 90 internationals - our cost is $9,300 to start a school.
We are choosing first the Colorado Springs area. Why? Colorado Springs has over 50,000 households which do not have English as their primary language spoken in their home. It also doesn't have a school focused on their needs as adults to develop a business level English.
Once our hand up goal is reached we can advertize, make it affordable ($4.75 per hour - 100 hours of learning in 12 weeks) and expand to reach more people. With this simple approach we can provide eight part time teachers and be able to invest back into the school for more students and material to give them a stronger hand up.
From Colorado Springs we will be going to Pueblo, the up to the great Denver region, Southern California (Santa Ana, Fullerton, and Tustin) and to other cities we are invited to. We know from our proto-type successes it takes a six week time-line to establish an ESI for a city once we have the key support personnel in place. Won’t you give a hand up with us to internationals – our start up cost is $9,300.00 to give 90 internationals the affordable professionally taught opportunity to really know English as a business language.

It is the belief of TBG that the English language is a gateway to global communication. Learning English can prove to open many avenues to the immigrant who is striving to assimilate into our country. By learning the English language internationals can enjoy a more promising career path, have the opportunity to attend a college or university, as well as communicate personally with other English-speaking citizens. English is an empowering language that can truly have lasting positive effects on those who learn to speak it and write it.
TBG English Language School is seeking you, who want to really want to see our internationals here: know, speak and write English and get out of the shadowlands into living fully in our communities.

Additionally, TBG will service the immigrant population in a unique way, helping them to assimilate into all facets of society, culture, and the work place making the community stronger as a whole.
The $9,300 is used for communication tools, hosting the community leaders meeting of the various mosaic groups, ordering the training material, student testing and training six to eight teachers.
Material We Use:
“Bridges” Level One Curriculum (12 weeks)
“Passages” Cambridge -For our Level Two (12 weeks)
“More Passages” Cambridge- For our Level Three (12 weeks)
We will also offer only for level three EBL a five week intensive course with teaching at a very resonable cost of $9.25 per hour (100 hours) of class room and out of class instruction.
Won't you give that hand up with us!
