Project Info

Llyons Court Charities believes that children are entitled to knowledge and understanding about the world they live in. We also believe that children are the decision-makers of the future, and that we should empower them to act as responsible global citizens, able and committed to shaping the world in the interests of all.

The Llyons Court Charities For Child Sake Program advocates that education is about respect for ourselves and for others - and this comes from appreciating the diversity in our world and the realization that we will change nothing unless we listen to and participate in the debates affecting our communities.

We believe that young people must be given a chance to think for themselves, especially in matters concerning them.

The world has been in turmoil for generations and this turmoil has seen children involved in war, drug dealing and sexual exploitation whilst they also suffer from malnutrition, ill health, HIV/Aids and Malaria.

All of these issues place huge demands on our resources and that is why, more than ever we need your help to try and bring as many children as we can through a troubled childhood to enable them to reach a meaningful adulthood.

Your donations can help - no matter how small - consider how you can help today - the "why" you should help is clear from the media stories you read, hear and see on TV and Radio everyday.

You know from what you read, hear and see that children are in desperate need in many countries throughout this world. It is so easy to make a difference if you want to.

Llyons Court Charities For Child Sake Program Is designed to make a difference in the educational, nutritional, and medical needs of refugee children that have been uprooted and driven from their homes in Burma. We feel that by providing education, sustenance, and medical attention for these children now, they will be better equipped to provide for themselves in the future. Thereby, breaking the cycle of poverty, abuse, and neglect they will continue to experiance if we do not act now to intervene.

This is why Llyons Court Charitie's For Child Sake Program is designed to provide not only medical attention, shelter, and food for severely disadvantaged children but also, education.

Llyons Court Charities believes that education is the key to a better tomorrow for these children and others like them around the world.

Llyons Court Charities has received book donations from it's sponsor Books-A- Million for the For Child Sake Program. Llyons Court Charities has also received airfare donations from it's sponsor Air-Tran for this same project.

Llyons Court Charities is also in the process of applying for a Federal Grant in order to continue it's work in this area. This grant will be filed by April 2008.

Llyons Court Charities has purchased 12 Rai of land near Ban Phai, Thailand in order to build a school and medical facility for these forgotten children. To date, Llyons Court Charities has cleared the land, and run water, sewer, and electricity to the site. The site will also be used as a refugee reception center and disaster relief center in time of need.

Our donors' money will be used to continue the Llyons Court Ban Phai Project. It will be used to pour foundations, build walls, roof buildings, buy materials, pay carpenters, and all that a project of this nature will require. Llyons Court Charities thanks you for your support and the beautiful forgotten children of the world thank you as well.

Think now and Act TODAY.
