Project Info
Most children who require wheelchairs only have one. However, regular wheelchairs can't go into a swimming pool. Specially designed "water-proof wheelchairs" are made for this purpose. We need to buy several so that visiting campers can use the pool. Our pool has a wheelchair ramp so that, with the right kind of chair, a child can enter the pool and enjoy this simple pleasure. The chairs cost about $3,000 each.
