Homeless4
PROJECT

Not a sexy project...but who needs sexy when we're talking about KITTIES!

Humane Society Silicon Valley

It's very, very simple - almost silly simple, really. It costs $50 to purchase a humane trap to capture a homeless cat who needs to be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and disease tested. Humane Society Silicon Valley has humane traps that can help our community members trap homeless cats so that we can provide everything they need to be placed back into their colonies where caring people can take care of them while they live out the rest of their lives.

HSSV has 20 traps and consistently has a waiting list of people who are willing to help, but don't have a trap! If we can purchase 30 more traps, we can stem the tide of kittens being born into homeless families simply by letting the community know we have traps for them to utilize right when they need them! Most importantly, we can stem the tide of kittens being born that in just 5-6 months will be ready to produce more kittens themselves! HUMANE TRAPS PREVENT LIVES! Perhaps you can afford one or more humane traps, perhaps you can get 4 of your friends to help you purchase just one by chipping in $10 each! Either way, your gift of a humane trap will go a long way toward helping the estimated 125,000 cats who are homeless in Silicon Valley.
