Project Info

The Peruvian Earthquake has left scores of children literally wandering the streets, homeless and without parents. Government officials contacted Southern Cross Humanitarian this weekend asking for assistance, knowing our organization provides long term solutions for children combined with legal guardianship. As we are almost filled to capacity in our first two dorms, we are raising emergency funds to construct our 3rd and 4th dorm in hopes to have them finished within a month. $30,000 would provide a permanent, loving home for 40 more children now, hundreds in the future.

Pictured above is a typical completed dorm room. Please help us rescue these children. Each child saved changes the world for good, even if it is just their own.

I just spoke with Laura, the President of Southern Cross Humanitarian, and I thought I would post an update for you. So far the amount raised from this project is just over $3000. They have the adobe bricks almost finished for the dorms and will start building within the week. Tell your friends about the project! We're making progress!
