Project Info
From the teacher:
"Each issue of the newspaper is developed by rotating teams of a writer, photographer and an editor. The photographer can do one of two things at this time; he can borrow a camera or find shots other people have taken of the events being reported . Each one of those options can cause delays and problems with layout and design, stories to be re-written to match the final photographs acquired, or well-written stories to go unnoticed because they do not have pictures to draw the readers' attention. Our young writers would love to have some cameras to get better photos to point to their more-or less thousand words.
A couple of really good cameras would help our budding reporters to produce a newspaper in a timely manner, build their self-esteem, stay focused on one of the hardest jobs there is, being a watch-dog for democracy."
