GreenTown Los Altos is a local, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that is dedicated to making Los Altos and Los Altos Hills healthier and more sustainable. We believe that people can make a difference in creating an environmentally healthy future by reducing their energy, water, waste and land use today. We equip them with the information and inspiration needed to make those changes. Our main project areas are 1) Walk and Bike to School Program; 2) Waste Reduction 3) Sustainable Land Use and 4) a Restaurant Buyers Co-op. GreenTown Los Altos operates as a fiscal project of Acterra.
