About our Charity
Founded: 1905
Throughout Santa Clara County the programs and services of the YWCA of Silicon Valley are assisting our community in a variety of ways. We support families and children with our seven Child Care Centers. Teens are empowered and educated through our Youth Services after-school programs - including our newest program, TechGYRLS®, a technology education program for girls age 5 to 14. Our Rape Crisis Center provides rape crisis/sexual assault response and support services, as well as school-based educational programs for sexual assault awareness and prevention. We empower women, children, and families through our on-site and school-based Counseling program, and provide parents with the skills they need through our Family Enrichment program. Our Social and Racial Justice program works to fulfill our mission of empowering women and eliminating racism within all of our programs and throughout our community.
