Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley was formed in 1986 and is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat for Humanity, a faith-based organization that welcomes people of all beliefs to join in its mission, is committed to eliminating poverty housing throughout the world. Our mission is to transform families and strengthen communities by building decent, affordable housing for long-term home ownership. We envision Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley developing into a vibrant, growing producer of affordable housing.
Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley relies on the generosity of its donors and volunteers and the "sweat equity" of homeowners to create simple, decent homes in Santa Clara County.
