The purposes for which this organization is formed are to:

1. Inform and empower families, whom have children with Down syndrome, the knowledge to obtain services which will lead to the integration and participation in community life; including but not limited to, education, recreation, family and social life, employment and living choices.

a) Operate a nonprofit Family support group, exclusively for charitable purposes. Facilitate international Adoption of children with Down Syndrome, promote and facilitate medical care for orphans with Down Syndrome,
b) Provide support, information and resources for same from other families, professionals, and self-advocates.
c) Connect families to local services.
d) Provide information on all aspects of Down syndrome in person, by phone or Internet, www.podsangels.org.
