We are starting a new program for individuals with special needs. The program will integrate the Summer Reading program and activities that are developmentally appropriate for the special needs population in Central Iowa. We will be the only library in the state of Iowa to offer such a program. We will need to purchase adaptive equipment as well as a variety of craft materials suitable for this particular group.Please help us provide a learning opportunity for people with disabilities to enjoy and participate in without feeling disruptive or different.
