Take Me Home raises funds to send "unadoptable" dogs to training camp. These are dogs who have been in a rescue facility for years, sitting behind bars, with no hope as they need more guidance than our volunteers can provide to them. Seeing the same dogs in no kill shelters for four to fives years is no life for any animal. So we decided to do something. We met a trainer and began sending one dog at a time to him. In the training camp they learn both social and training skills to prepare them for adoption. Upon graduation the dog is placed with a family who continues to work with the trainer. Take Me home wants to keep the dog a top notch canine citizen. Take Me Home also provides medical care for orphaned animals. When an animal is in need, Take Me home is there. We want to be able to step in when others can't and now have once "unadoptable" dogs in forever homes. We have over thirty dogs waiting to go to a trainer but need funds to send them so they too can begin their new lives.
